The following roads will be upgraded in 2017. Construction is expected to begin in March and continue through Fall of 2017. Dates will be updated here as each project begins.
- Sixth Street between Conrad Industrial Drive and South Washington Avenue (Begins May 3:Sixth Street between Sherman Street and South Washington)
- S. Washington Avenue between Fourth Street and Sixth Street (Begins May 3)
- First Street between Taylor Street and Sherman Street (Begins 3/14/2017, scheduled to be completed by 4/15/2017)
- Taylor Street between First Street and Sixth Street
- N. Washington Avenue between Fitch Street and Anderson Street
- Anderson Street between N. Washington Avenue and N. Staffon Street
- Lawndale Street between N. Staffon Street and Sherman Street
- S. Madison Avenue between Fourth Street and Sixth Street
- Second Street between S. Washington Avenue and S. Madison Avenue
ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATES:
Weather permitting, construction is expected to start on Wednesday, May 3 on Sixth Street between Sherman Street and South Washington... Avenue, including South Washington between Fourth Street and Sixth Street. The construction includes replacing the sanitary sewer main and water main, new curb and gutter, and new pavement. Construction is expected to last several months. First Street will be the official detour.
