The Lakeview Cemetery is home to many persons responsible for the rise and success of the City of Ludington and the security of the freedoms our nation bestows upon each resident.
Lakeview Cemetery is home to burial sites of Soldiers belonging to the Grand Army of the Republic or G.A.R. G.A.R. was the first truly national veterans organization in the country. Membership was limited to veterans of the American Civil War who served as soldiers, sailors or marines during the period 1861 to 1865.
