School Resource Officer
One LPD officer is assigned to work in the various buildings of the Ludington Area School District, as well the Ludington Area Catholic School, in the prevention and investigation of crimes that are connected with those schools.
Sheriffs Emergency Response Team (SERT)
There are 2 members that are trained and equipped as SERT Officers. They respond to critical incidents, barricaded subjects and high-risk entry incidents.
