Tree Advisory Board

The Tree Advisory Board consists of 5 members, appointed by the mayor, all of whom shall be residents of the City. Members serve without compensation but maybe reimbursed for actual expenses incurred in the performance of their duties. 

DUTIES:

  • Provides guidance on the selection and planting of trees in public places throughout the community. 
  • Work to enhance the community by encouraging proper maintenance, preservation and new plantings.
  • Educate the community about the benefits of trees.

​The Tree Advisory Board meets in 2022 on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room at City Hall. All meetings are open to the public. 
The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. has been cancelled.
The next regularly scheduled Tree Advisory Board meeting will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room at City Hall
